Net Primary Productivity (NPP) of vegetations in Lianyungang, which can be referred as carbon fixation amount, was calculated using C-Fix model. The results showed that carbon fixed by vegetations in2010was1150.59×104tC, out of which carbon fixed by Green Infrastructure (GI) was995.22×104tC. Carbon fixed by vegeta-tions decreased from the southern to the northern part of Lianyungang. Especially, Lianyungang city had the least fixed carbon amount because of the strongest con-struction intensity and the saline land along the coastal beach with little vegetation covery. Also the carbon fixed by vegetations showed a large range of seasonal varia-tion. After adding carbon fixed by sea, carbon sink of Lianyungang was calculated, which was1415.18×104tC. According to the Research Report of Low-carbon Econo-my Development Strategy of Lianyungang, carbon source of Lianyungang in2010was1697.25×104tC. At the end of this thesis advices on optimal allocation of GI in Lian-yungang were brought up.
