| In the past 40 years of reform and opening up,China’s economy has developed rapidly, and the construction of transportation infrastructure has played an important role in promoting it.Economic development must be accompanied by the improvement of total factor productivity. At present, many scholars have discussed the relationship between transportation infrastructure and total factor productivity. However, the rapid economic development is accompanied by energy consumption and environmental pollution, which has caused some irreparable damage and pollution to the environment. The increasingly serious ecological problems have also affected the normal life of residents. Therefore,on the basis of promoting the green sustainable development, improving the green total factor productivity is the fundamental way to solve the contradiction between environmental pollution and economic development.Industry not only accounts for a large proportion of the total economic output in the whole industry, but also causes great damage to the ecological environment. Therefore, this paper introduces green total factor productivity to explore the impact of transportation infrastructure on industrial green total factor productivity. In terms of theoretical research, this article uses the network and externalities of transportation infrastructure and productivity theory as the theoretical basis of this article, and explores the impact path of transportation infrastructure on industrial green total factor productivity from the micro, meso and macro levels. In terms of empirical research, this article is based on the calculation method of the SBM directional distance function considering the undesired output combined with the global GML productivity index.First, the industrial green total factor productivity of 30 provinces in my country(except Tibet,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)from 2006 to 2018 The calculations are carried out,and from the results of the decomposition items,it can be seen that technological progress has a greater contribution to the growth of China’s industrial green total factor productivity than technological efficiency. After that, the spatial correlation test of my country’s transportation infrastructure and industrial green total factor productivity respectively shows that there is a positive spatial correlation between the two.On this basis, this paper adopts the relatively new spatial panel measurement model in recent years, constructs a 0-1 adjacent spatial weight matrix, and uses the panel data of 30 provinces from 2007 to 2018 to conduct an empirical research on the impact of transportation infrastructure on industrial green total factor productivity..The results show that railway infrastructure mainly affects industrial green total factor productivity through indirect effects, and foreign railway infrastructure has a negative spillover effect on local industrial green total factor productivity;highway infrastructure has a significant positive effect on my country’s industrial green total factor productivity. And the spatial spillover effect constitutes a larger part of the overall partial effect of road infrastructure on industrial green total factor productivity.Different levels of highway infrastructure have significant differences in the impact of industrial green total factor productivity.Expressways and first-level roads have a significant positive role in promoting industrial green total factor productivity, and second-level roads have a significant positive effect on industrial green total factor productivity. The promotion has a restraining effect. The third-level road mainly promotes the growth of industrial green total factor productivity through indirect effects, while the fourth-level road and foreign roads have no significant promotion effect on industrial green productivity. |
