This paper elaborated the development of green food industry, probing into thecurrent situation and existing problems of PEIA respectively. And put forward a seriesof applicable theories and techniques that could help promoting PEIA of green foodindustry. A new research methods such as life cycle impact assessment and ecologicalfootprint assessment, have been used to analyze environment impacts in industry, animal husbandry, tourism, etc. This has become a popular research field andcontinues to garner increasing attention from scientists. In this paper, quantitativeanalysis of life cycle impact and qualitative analysis of the ecological footprint wereused to evaluate corn production processes in Changtu County, China. The threelargest black soil zones in the world are in the plains of northeast China (whichincludes Changtu County), Ukraine and the Mississippi valley in the United States.looking forward to providing helpful reference for the green food industry PEIA.Analysis of the results of ecological footprint assessment showed that all ninetowns we selected had been in negative ecological status with respect to the process ofcorn production. We then used life cycle impact assessment to evaluate the potentialfor global warming potential(GWP), acidification potential(AP), nutrient potential(NP)and energy depletion potential(EDP) in corn production in Changtu County. The lifecycle impact assessment results showed that global warming potential and energydepletion potential appeared to contribute the largest percentiles in corn production, and there were smaller percentiles for acidification potential and eutrophication in thisprocess. From the results of this study, we make recommendations for changing thenegative ecological status that entail reducing the use of fossil fuels, improving theefficiency of agricultural machinery and using clean-burning fuels. Suggest usingmodernization science technology and equipment in green food production process, learning the methods of agricultural planting and mode of production from the worldso that to reduce the consumption of fossil energy environmental pollution and theinput of chemical fertilizer. On the other hand, promote the depth of the sewage treatment, improve the waste water and gas pollution, will improve environmentalimpact of the eutrophication potential and acidification potential. Use from the"end-treatment" to change the thought of "clean production" agricultural productionand utilization of clean production and circular economy mode of agricultureproduction to realize a modernization agriculture.
