Air compressor is one of the essential equipment during coal mine production presently. Due to the special live working environment during coal mine production, which makes it’s the power source for the pneumatic tools, such as pneumatic drill, pneumatic pick and other equipment. Under the condition of cable transmission signal, most air compressor fault diagnose use traditional monitoring methods at present, which makes so many problems happen during coal mine production, such as serious signal interference, hard to maintain and inadequate fault diagnose. In conclusion, it’s very important to do research about fuzzy fault diagnosis expert system for air compressor based on WSN.Firstly, my paper base on the analysis between fault diagnose technology and wireless sensor research actuality, as well as the analysis and comparison on several popular wireless communication protocol at present, it comes out a conclusion that low speed, low cost and low power consumption Zigbee protocol is more suitable for the system fault diagnose data collection. Secondly, base on wireless sensor network air compressor fuzzy fault diagnose expert system, Zigbee wireless sensor network software and hardware design is described detailed in my paper, and it also includes the data collection testing result by network simulation. Thirdly, it describes the fault diagnose expert system and fuzzy mathematics theory, at the same time it introduce the fuzzy mathematics theory and expert system concept into screw air compressor fault diagnose system. Fourthly, after integrating the screw air compressor operating principle and fault analysis, it describes the establishment process for screw air compressor fault diagnose expert system based on fuzzy theory, which includes the system basic framework, establishment for fuzzy diagnose model, design of system repository, inference engine and system software. Finally, it includes the system instance diagnose after combining the relevant data.
