Self moving tail is an important connection part of telescopic belt conveyor. When self moving tail is working underground, due to the bottom surface is not smooth, the belt deviation, or the head of the loader skew always need to level the related equipment to maintain normal working state. Currently the way to leveling the tail is usualy manually operated leveling, but it is always low leveling efficiency, low precision, time-consuming, and it may affects the work efficiency of the fully mechanized coal face, and also not conducive to the automation and intelligent development of downhole equipment.In this paper, through the analysis of the existing problems of self moving tail leveling system, automatic control theory and intelligent hardware and software technology were used to design an automatic leveling system. Hope that this paper can provide a reference for the realization of fully mechanized coal face equipment automation and intelligent control.In this paper, a mathematical model in the none horizontal state of the self moving tail leveling platform was established, then its leveling strategy was analyzed and determined, and then determined the overall scheme of automatic leveling system. In the hardware circuit design, this paper uses the MCU ATmegal6as the main chip of controller, completed three hardware circuit design modules, as LCD and keypad input modules, control modules, and system interface modules. Language C was used to design the control program. Lastly, simulation analysis was carried out for the automatic leveling system. The stability of the hydraulic valve controlled cylinder system was analyzed; then modeling and simulation the hydraulic system automatic leveling system to obtain the speed of the hydraulic system, displacement and pressure; simulation and analysis of the automatic leveling process to demonstrate rationality and stability of the proposed design of automatic leveling system.Hope that this topic research can provide some references for the future development of self moving tail and other leveling equipment.
