Progressing cavity pump is a main way of mining in mechanical oil recovery. With thedevelopment of oil field, the development direction of progressing cavity pump in the futurecan meet the needs of deep Wells and ultra deep well, that is increasing single-stage liftingpressure, lifting height, improve the ability of the screw pump lifting.Based on GLB120-27type screw pump as the research object in the paper, the entitymodel is set up using three-dimensional modeling software and3D finite element model isestablished using finite element analysis software. The process of modeling revised Mooney-Rivilin model parameters (the stator rubber constitutive relation model).Using the statorrubber material performance test data determined the parameter values of the model andsimulated the rubber stator real strain range.Making use of the PCP’s three-dimensional finite element model to change thepressure,and complete the finite element calculations,judge seal on the location of the leak inthe first place. According to the dynamic relationship between progressing cavity pumpleakage and sealing, establish its distribution rule of stress field.Making use of the PCP’s three-dimensional finite element model,the relations betweenthe screw pump lifting pressure and the structural parameters have been analyzed. Accordingto the eccentricity and the lifting pressure curve, with the eccentricity increases, liftingpressure increases before they are reduced..The relationship between lead and lifting pressurecurve shows that as the lead, the lifting pressure increases. By the amount of interference withthe lifting pressure curve, the lifting pressure increases with increasing as the amount ofinterference.For different depth of well selection of screw pump, Choose a pump for smalldisplacement shallow Wells, the original structure parameters of the screw pump can meet thistype well. Choose a pump for low-emission deep well, shortening the lead and increaseinterference quantity all can improve the lifting pressure, but increase the friction stress of toomuch will increase the pump, so for low-emission deep well pump selection shortening lead.Choose a pump for large displacement shallow Wells, increasing eccentricity can meet theneeds of the well. Choose a pump for large displacement Wells, increasing the amount ofinterference and eccentricity, shortened lead.This paper in the final selected a set ofparameters for of0.4mm,Tof152mm,eof7mm to validate. Through calculation, thelifting pressure is16.07MPa, increased6.55MPa than the original structure parameter ofprogressing cavity pump,that is, improved under the pump depth of more than six hundredmeters.Displacement is23.78m3/d.It raised7.71m3/d than the original structure parameters of progressing cavity pump.
