| Industrial manufacturing industry is the fundamental of each country’s development of social and economic activity and an important part of the national pillar industry, with the level of development as an important symbol to measure a country’s comprehensive national strength. Machine tool is an important production tool in the industrial manufacturing industry, and improving the automatic production capacity of the machine tool is the only way for industrial manufacturing industry transformation and technology development. Center lathe numerical control is the main content, because center lathe numerical control can help companies improve mechanical automation production levels in the case of reducing waste and saving investment costs.In this paper, taking the more existing CA6140center lathe in Yibin local enterprises as the transformation object, to determine the functional level of the machine tool after the transformation through market research, and to select the GSK928TC CNC system designed and developed by the Guangzhou machine tool factory as the transformation system according to the target after transformation. Depending on the selected CNC system, combined with characteristics of the machine tool structure and the allowed research funding of this project, select the program with relatively small changes and low investment funds but to achieve the transformation objective from a variety of transformation programs. The transformation from the CA6140center lathe to GSK928TC system CNC lathe follows the current popular green manufacturing principles, retaining the machine tool body of the original lathe after the overhaul; retaining the spindle box of the original lathe with gear shifting for spindle drive so as to guarantee to provide greater torque during the low speed processing; combing the four-level ball nut screw with the hybrid stepper motor to achieve automatic feeding function while retaining the original lathe’s axial and radial manual functions; fitting with4-station electric tool carrier to achieve automatic tool changing so as to improve the degree of automation; designing the protective cover before and after the original lathe so as to improve the production safety factor of the lathe. Finally, the lathe is debugged and tried processing, and through the analysis of the processed same parts before and after the transformation, various performances of the transformed lathe have been improved, reaching pre-set transformation targets.The transformation from the center lathe only relying on hand operation to the CNC lathe with higher degree of automation and security protective cover is complex. This paper mainly explains the related knowledge on the design of CA6140center lathe CNC transformation general scheme, the design and calculation of the X axis and Z axis transfer group in the mechanical structure transformation and the transformation of the machine tool circuit system, briefly introducing the machine tool assembly and debugging process. |
