Numerical control technology has been widely used since its establishment.After years of development,China has made some achievements in the field of numerical control.CNC machine tools play a key role in the field of mechanical manufacturing.The level of NC in a country or region reflects its mechanization level to a large extent.At present,many enterprises have a certain number of ordinary machine tools,these machine tools have a long service life,it is difficult to quantify production in industrial practice,and the processing accuracy is not high,and the degree of automation is relatively weak.If the equipment is updated,it will affect the production,and need to invest a lot of money to purchase CNC machine tools.Therefore,transformation and upgrading of existing machine tools,expanding the manufacturing capacity of machine tools,and improving production capacity and efficiency are the strategies adopted by most enterprises at present,which can effectively improve the degree of automation of enterprises.In this paper,the key measures to solve the typical problems in the implementation of CA6140 lathe are listed.It includes the feasibility analysis of the machine tool transformation;expounds the advantages and disadvantages of several transformation schemes of the numerical control system;combined with the requirements of the numerical control transformation of CA6140,the open CNC turning system established by the motion control card and industrial computer is analyzed in detail,and the theoretical basis for the construction of the hardware platform and the design idea of the software platform are discussed in detail;the main mechanical components,such as feed The selection basis of ball screw pair,stepper motor and driver,control principle and selection of automatic rotary turret,selection basis and installation precautions of pulse encoder on spindle are analyzed in detail.The machine tool after logarithmic control transformation is in accordance with GBT 25659.2-2010 "simple CNC horizontal lathe" technical requirements to test the accuracy of machine tools,summarized and analyzed the specific requirements of each transformation project in the transformation.This paper provides a theoretical basis for the practice of data control transformation of ordinary machine tools,standardizes the transformation and upgrading of ordinary machine tools,provides reference experience for enterprises to introduce CNC technology for ordinary machine tools,and creates conditions for the establishment and development of CNC maintenance specialty in schools.
