Since the inflammable plastic is widely used in the area of architecture andelectronic, more and more fire accidents are happening in China recently. Thisphenomenon promotes the development of flame retardant which is used as the mainadditive of plastic. When the fire accident happens, the temperature rising, thedecomposition of the flame retardant will happen, which will lower the temperature,keep the oxygen out and destroy the essential conditions for burning, and will saveenough time for fire rescue. According to the difference of the groups which makedifference in the flame retardant, we will divide the flame retardant into two groups:organic flame retardant and inorganic flame retardant. As the research shows, thecompatibility of organic flame retardant, among which the brominated flameretardant is the best, is better than that of inorganic flame retardant. The brominatedflame retardant enterprise is various, and the production process, three wastes arehuge in number. The process of production design, material purchase, manufacture,sale, and reclamation disposition will cause huge environment cost, which demandsthe environment cost management of the whole product life cycle in themanufacturing of brominated flame retardant.The paper mainly discusses the way to realize the maximization of the economicbenefit and environment benefit of brominated flame retardant enterprise by the costcontrol of every step under the guidance of product life cycle. First of all, it analysesthe problems which brominated flame retardant enterprises face, and discuss the goalof cost management based on product life cycle. Secondly, it expounds the theoreticalbasis of environment cost management based on product life cycle. Thirdly, thearticle studies the matter of the environment cost management of brominated flameretardant enterprises by founding entropy weight TOPSIS model, combined with realmatters. Ultimately, the article summarizes the matter of the environment costmanagement of brominated flame retardant enterprises based on product life cycle,and looks the future into distance.
