This subject synthesis organic polysulfide agent in homemade high-pressure reactor withelemental sulfur and isobutylene as reaction raw materials, with different intensity of alkalinesodium hydroxide solution as a catalyst,. Experiment investigates the response of raw materialratio, reaction temperature, reaction time and reaction pressure, etc. The influence of processconditions on the reaction result. And the optimum reaction process conditions were selectedby orthogonal experiment. The optimum reaction process was investigated under thecondition of sulfur olefin ratio and dosage and alkaline catalyst, reaction temperature andreaction time on the sulfur content of sulfide agent. Experiment not only for the synthesis oforganic sulfide agent compare with different reaction sulfur content, and the use of differentinorganic catalysts for synthesis of sulfide agent sulfur content, but also to the use of differentorganic catalysts for synthesis of sulfide agent sulfur content compare each other. On organicpolysulfide agent of synthetic evaluation, using the predecessors did not use the capillarymethod and Abbe refractometer method.The experimental results show that, in experiments sodium hydroxide solution as acatalyst for the reaction of the synthesis of organic polysulfide agent has a catalytic role. Withisobutylene and elemental sulfur under the action of this kind of catalyst, synthesis of organicpolysulfide agent, reaction of olefins conversion rate is high, high product yield. Researchshows that the greater of alkaline catalyst, the more conducive to sulfide agent of syntheticexperiment. The best reaction process conditions as follows: sulfur olefin ratio of3.0:1,catalyst dosage of3%of the reactants, the intensity of alkaline catalysts pH is equal to11,reaction temperature165℃, reaction time3.5h. Under the condition of the reaction withisobutylene and elemental sulfur as reaction raw material, sodium hydroxide solution ascatalyst, the sulfide agent sulfur content65.58%, in the form of flash point113℃anddecomposition temperature range187~350℃, the viscosity6.3cst. The sulfide agent ofhigh sulfur content, low viscosity coefficient, has good liquidity, wide range of decompositiontemperature, low odor, less environmental pollution, low production cost.
