Grinding is the most common and important method for precision machining inmechanical manufacturing and it is also one of the final machining processes formechanical parts. The level of machinery manufacturing processing andmanufacturing is influenced by the accuracy, efficiency and quality of grindingmachining. Grinding active measurement control instrument is an instrument that isused to measure the size of workpiece and control the process of grinding machining,having the ability enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of grinding.Because the domestic research started relatively late and foreign advancedtechnology was confidential, domestic active measurement control technology lagsbehind developed countries. The domestic grinding active measurement controlinstrument features relatively simple. It can only monitor the grinding process of asimple hole or axis. for a discontinuous surface of the shaft and the stepped shaft,the process of grinding is not able to fully meet the needs of industrial production. Ithas a very important significance for perfecting the function of domestic activemeasurement instrument and lifting the precision of grinding that studying the keytechnologies of grinding active measurement control instrument, and analyzing thefunction, structure and measuring principle.This paper further studies the key technology and application of grinding activemeasurement control, and the main research content is as follows:The grinding process often encountered with the axis with keyway, gears,splines and other parts with intermittent surface. The grooves cause saltation ofmeasurements and impact the judgment of the grinding process, when the activemeasurement and control instrument is monitoring these parts. According to theabove situation, this paper study the characteristics of discontinuous surface,software filtering and numerical processing technology, and puts forward two dataprocessing methods: differential compensation method and numerical memorymethod. According to the characteristics of discontinuous surface, the correspondingdata processing method is chosen, thus effectively solve the problems of discontinuous surface active measurement. This paper has designed the softwareabout the differential compensation method and the numerical memory method, andthe software can be directly integrated into the active instrument system.In view of the existing active measure and control instrument most do not havethe multi level mobile measurement function, based on the research and analysis ofhardware platform and software system about the active measure and controlinstrument Z3000A, this paper propose the multi-step automatic switching mobilemeasurement technology, and then carry out the hardware compensation circuitdesign and software design. Expand the measurement range of active measure andcontrol instrument in a certain extent, and realize the detection and control of thegrinding process with multiple dimensions of the stepped shaft parts in a fixturewithout stop.Now the measuring method of roundness error of workpiece is usuallypost-processing measurement, having low efficiency and high cost. Based on thedigital theory of the new generation GPS, further study of the technology ofroundness error evaluation operator, this paper come up with the method of onlineroundness error evaluation, realize the roundness error visual evaluation about leastsquares, maximum, minimum circumscribed and cutting inside minimum area, anddesign the software program.The intermittent measurement technology, mobile measurement technology androundness error evaluation technology are applied and integrated in Z3000A activemeasuring control instrument. The correctness and feasibility of the keytechnologies are verified by the experiment. Research results have importantapplication value to promote the development of our country active measurementtechnology and the development of new active measuring control instrument.
