Through investigation and comparison of several schemes optimization, reliable chain and transmission method is selected. Dynamic climbing7.5meters high modular base is designed, slingshot type portable derricks without guy rope is suitable for the fixed base. Some breakthroughs in lifting, control, drive and rig substructure systems are made.Some difficulties in processing and manufacturing are overcome by reasonably designing important parts and tools to ensure manufacturing accuracy.Upon completing the manufacturing, lifting and putting down performance, connection-and adaptation among the parts of the rig, jointly operating of all systems and control systems, disassembly and installation of all parts are tested in the plant and at site; meanwhile, industrial performance and stress tests are performed. All indexes satisfy the design requirements.A technical breakthrough in the structure, infield prefabrication and site final assembly is aimed by optimally designing the substructure and derrick of50Ldrilling rig in order to decrease the manufacture cost, shorten the production period, expand the application market as well as prolong the designed service period of50L drilling rig.
