ABSTRACT:Supramolecular Chemistry focus on the special functional and structure chemical system consists of more than two components which connected by weak reversible non-covalent interactions. Pseudorotaxane is an important hotspot in Supramolecular Chemistry for its functions. Morevoer, it is basic substance in synthesis of rotaxane, catenane and molecule device. Design and synthesize novel functional pseudorotaxane is a leading edge topics in Supramolecular Chemistry. Novel terpyridine contained linear guests was synthesized and self-assmblied with Di-benzo-24-crown-8and Pillararene in this article. Further research on chemical kinetics was done to confirm host-guest stoichiometrics and complexation constant.1. Use Suzuki coupling reaction and terpyridine-metal complexation to synthesize two kinds of guest molecule(guest1, guest2). Synthesize pillar[5]arene. Moreover, use’H-NMR, COSY-NMR, ESI-MS and X ray single crystal diffraction to confirm its structure.2.’H-NMR, COSY-NMR proves the formation of the pseudorotaxane which was self-assemblied by guest molecule (guest lb, guest2b) and dibenzo-24-crown-8ether. Measure host crown ether’ chemical shift at different host-guest ratio by continuous titration. Scatchard plots show the self-assembly’s equilibrium constant between guest lb and dibenzo-24-crown-8ether was852(±82) M-1, and the self-assembly’s equilibrium constant between guest2b and dibenzo-24-crown-8ether was2.13(±0.22)×103M-1.1H-NMR, COSY-NMR proves the formation of the pseudorotaxane which was self-assemblied by guest molecule (guest1) and Pillar[5]arene. FT-1CR-MS confirm the proportion of self-assembly between pillar[5]arene and guest (guest la) was1:2. Scatchard plots and Hill equation plot confirm the positively cooperative binding of pillar[5]arene.
