In recently years the roof separation accident is always occurs in the coal safety produce, the statistical data has shown that more than half of the coal accident is roof separation accident, and80%which occurred mostly in the mining field. The accident has caused a great loss to the property of the state security, besides it is a serious threat to the relevant personnel’s life safety. So it is very important to monitor the roof’s conditions in real time. But most of the coal mine is in the deep of the earth, the environment is very poor, it is very difficult to collect the data and transfer the data information to the terminal and the PC. In order to solve these problems, through analysis the existing roof separation monitor’s advantages and disadvantages, combine with the related technology, the paper give a design of wireless monitoring system of roof separation based on ZigBee and STM32.The monitoring system includes two parts:monitor substation and data processing terminal. The monitor substation’s MCU is CC2530and the power amplifier chip CC2591, the substation can get the roof separation information through the sensor, and transfer the data to next node by wireless, the substation is powered by battery. The data processing terminal can process all the substation’s data, the terminal chip is STM32F103and CC2530, the terminal has a touch screen, users can control the monitoring substations by press the button, it is very convenient to control, the terminal can save the data and search the history data, it can also backup the data through USB terminal. So it can be seen a embedded system independent of the PC. It also can connect with the PC through Ethernet. This paper give a detail description through the hardware design and software design, at last, we have test the system in real environment, the test results show that the system can collect the data and transfer them in a efficient way and in real time. The system can meet the requirement of practical application.Combined with the existing roof motor the system is more convenient and has a higher precision, it is more smart, the system meet the demand of the construction of digital mine.
