Much of the study on regional ecological carrying capacity assessment focuses on ecological carrying capacity assessment of the urban area, the basin or sea area, the tourist area and the coal mining area,and so on,the lack of studying on ecological carrying capacity assessment of CBM mining area.CBM mining caused a certain impact on the regional ecological environment. Impact is mainly manifested in construction can affect the soil and water balance,the soil properties, the landscape and the climate, during the mining period,the extracted water from coal seams with high salinity can affect soil and plant,and pumping out water from coal seams for a long time can affect regional groundwater and the surface environment.Establishing evaluation index system and evaluation model of ecological carrying capacity in CBM mining area based on the theories of sustainable development and ecological carrying capacity, and in view of the ecological environment condition in CBM mining area. Evaluation index system of ecological carrying capacity consists of index system of ecosystem support force and index system of ecosystem stress, the index system of ecosystem support force consists of index system of ecosystem elastic force and index system of resources and environment carrying capacity, The comprehensive evaluation method as the evaluation method of ecological carrying capacity in CBM mining area, fist,evaluating the ecosystem support force,then evaluating the ecosystem stress,finally evaluating the ecosystem capacity pressure,which is the ratio of ecosystem pressure and support force, to the comprehensive evaluation of the regional ecological carrying capacity status. According to the requirements of the evaluation model, the standardization of index uses the method of range normality, and making the reference standard of the standardization of index, using the analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight value of each index.Taking CBM mining in ZhengZhuang block of Qinshui basin for an example to evaluate the regional ecological carrying capacity.The evaluation results is that the regional ecosystem elastic force is0.49, belonging to medium stability, the resources and environment carrying capability is0.51, belonging to medium carrying capability, the ecosystem support force is0.5, belonging to medium support force, the ecological stress is0.42, belonging to medium level, ecosystem capacity pressure is0.84, belonging to low load. As a result of the corresponding environmental prevention and treatment measures, regional exploitation of CBM smaller impact on the ecological environment.At present, the regional ecological system can bring to bear the pressure of social economic development,but it has been close to the balance state of support force and pressure, ecosystem with smaller carrying space in future,we need to be even more careful everywhere.
