Research On Ecological Carrying Capacity Evaluation And The Application In Urban Planning

Since the industrial revolution,the lifestyle of the people has been changed,and the living standard of the people has been highly improved.But along of the rapid development of society,economy and urbanization process,the destruction of nature is more and more serious by human,leading to a series of global severe problems,such as resources shortage,environmental pollution and ecological destruction.People gradually realized that the carrying capacity of the ecosystem is limited.natural resources are not inexhaustible,natural resources are not inexhaustible,in addition the ecological environment is not accommodate almost anything.Therefore,the study on carrying capacity have been pushed to the forefront of sustainable development.This paper further analyses and summarizes the connotation of ecological carrying capacity,and uses ecological carrying capacity evaluation method and ecological footprint model to evaluation and study on ecological carrying capacity of Tongliao city and to explore the application of the urban planning.contents,results and problems of this paper are as follows:(1)Based on the connotation of ecological carrying capacity,the paper builts a"target layer-layer of sub-objectives-criteria layer-index layer four levels of evaluation index system from the two aspects of ecological support and ecological stress,furthermore by principal component analysis method and analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of each indicator,and then uses the ecological carrying capacity evaluation method to analyze the situation of the ecological carrying capacity and predict the ecological threshold of Tongliao city.The results showed:The ecological carrying capacity of Tongliao City in the period 2005-2010 showed some fluctuations,but the overall upward trend;Under the premise of assume that the level of socio-economic,science and technology,quality of life remain unchanged,Tongliao city can host a population of 323.41 million.There are also some negative issues,such as the aggravation of pollution,resource utilization is not high,excessive development of secondary industry,tertiary industry development lags behind and the rapid population growth.(2)Based on the ENVI and GIS technology,the paper uses ecological carrying capacity model of ecological footprint to further analysis the spatial distribution of the ecological carrying capacity of Tongliao city and the situation of the ecological carrying of counties(banners)in Tongliao city.The results show that:The spatial distribution of ecological carrying capacity of Tongliao city is not evenly distributed.The level of ecological carrying capacity in the central and southwest is higher than other parts of Tongliao city.The overall trend east-west strip features.Among them,Horqin district,Huolinguole city,Kailu county,Naiman Banner are in overload conditions,Horqin district overload situation is the most serious;other counties(banners)a slight surplus of ecological carrying capacity,maximum profit.(3)Basis on the urban planning theory,the authors explore the application of the evaluation of research results in the area control,urban system planning,industry selection and layout,regional ecological and environmental protection and planning content,and propose the planning guidelines.At the same time,this study there are some issues need further exploration and research of this study,such as evaluation system,the application of research results in urban planning,and evaluation methods and promotion.
