Chestnut, reputation as "king of nuts" in China, is mainly planted in provinces ofHebei, Shandong, Shaanxi, Hubei and other places. Now the total output in China accountsfor about three-quarters of the world production with the plant-area expanding unceasingly.Chestnut fruit is rich in nutrients, so consumption is also growing. Hebei province is thelargest place of chestnut cultivation and processing in China with ten thousand tons of theannual production. And with the development of cultivation and processing of chestnut, alarge number of chestnut flowers were discarded as waste, which polluted environmentalbut wasted resources. Therefore, scientific research work of comprehensive utilization ofChinese chestnut flower is of great significance, in order to take the advantage of ourresources, reduce the waste of resources, increase the income of the farmers, maximizeresource utilization.Study on this subject consists of three parts:(1) Chestnut flowers as raw material, obtained by steam distillation of essential oils,the use of GC-MS (GC-MS) for chestnut flower essential oil composition analysis; toAedes albopictus as insects, and effective protection rate of time and aversion as anindicator to study the chestnut flower oils and oils four kinds of single active ingredient,chestnut flower distillate mosquito repellent activity. The results showed that the oil was12Floral aldehydes, ketones, alcohols, esters, essential oils, and wherein the effective time ofavoidance of single active ingredients menthol, geraniol, terpineol and linalool was3h,respectively,4.25h,6h,3.75h,5h, and the chestnut flower distillate only0.05h,commercially available toilet water was2.25h, showing chestnut flower essential oil has avery strong aversion activity. Meanwhile, the group was divided into a single effectiveenhancer to100mL chestnut flower distillate, based on orthogonal test, optimize chestnutflower distillate repellent activity, get toilet water chestnut flower recipe, its repellenteffective time of2.5h provide technical support for the development of comprehensiveutilization of chestnut flowers.(2) Chestnut flower with toilet water repellent as raw material, through the inhibitionzone rescreening screening and biomass, to study the chestnut flower toilet water repellentantibacterial capabilities. The results showed inhibition zone: floral toilet water repellentAspergillus niger and Penicillium chrysogenum inhibition zone diameter is between10-15mm, is moderately sensitive to beer yeast inhibition zone up to15mm or more are the mostsensitive, compared with the positive control group of commercially available toilet water,antibacterial obvious advantages. The results showed that the biomass rescreening:1L liquid medium added30mL floral toilet water repellent, the beer yeast, Aspergillusniger and Penicillium chrysogenum were not formed a complete growth cycle inhibitoryeffect is obvious. Therefore, studying a new application with the skin repellent productsprovide a theoretical basis.(3) Through floral toilet water repellent total reducing power, scavenging hydroxylradical, DPPH radical scavenging assay, and solution commercially available toilet waterand0.25mg/mL Vc as a positive control, research antioxidant capacity floral toilet water.The results showed that: floral toilet water repellent DPPH radical scavenging activity of40%, and diluted2-fold to15-fold during the period to maintain a good stability, better thancommercially available toilet water, in total reducing power, hydroxyl radical scavengingtwo the index, chestnut flower toilet water repellent within a certain range and role samplesolution0.25mg/mL Vc quite the same toilet water than commercially. Therefore, thefoundation for subsequent research of the development of chestnut flower toilet waterrepellent provides a theoretical basis.
