Digital Design And Manufacture Technology Research Of Board Type Furniture

With the rapid development of economy and the general improvement of living standards,small batch and many varieties, personalized furniture products have become the mainstream ofpeople’s pursuit. Under the stimulus of high-tech at the same time, in order to meet thepersonalized needs of consumers, the furniture industry has been gradually turned from thetraditional mode with mass production to the mode the small batch and many varieties ofproduction(mass customization furniture production mode).This paper takes Shanghai Vision Furniture company (Vision Furniture) as the research object for digital construction. This paper study the board type furniture digital design technology by using panel furniture design and manufacture special software WoodCAD/CAM (WCC). This paper has important theoretical significance and practical valueto the transformation of enterprises.1.This article summarizes defect of the existing mode,by conducting a comprehensiveanalysis of the problems of the existing mode, and puts forward using digital technology tosolve the problem of board type furniture production.2.Analyzes the digital board type furniture related theory, making theoretical basis for theconstruction of digital.3.Make preparations for the implementation of digital.The digital platform constructionincludes equipment configuration, network configuration and software configuration of thesystem. Taking the products of Vision for example, the product standardization design andparametric specifications are made to build good basis for product parametric modeling, so asto adapt to the furniture mass customization production mode.4.Develop the raw materials and product coding rules. Use WCC to build3d modeling ofproducts and develop the database of raw material、 hardware and products to make thefoundation the custom design. Use WCC to deal with the orders, automatically creating datadocuments, such as cutting list, BOM, hardware list, etc., and use bar code technique to guidethe workshop production and standardize the production process.5.Use VB6.0and ACCESS to develop Electronic Document Management System(EDMS)to solve the difficulties in managing the data generated by WCC. Use the EDMS to establishdocument warehouse for centralized management of electronic document to ensure the safety、efficacy and rapid sharing documents.
