Research On Custom Furniture Design Based On Digital Design Technology

With the rapid development of the Internet,the application of digital design technology in the custom furniture industry has been deepening,but compared to the real digital design of custom furniture,there is still a long distance to go.Based on the analysis of the application status of digital design technology and the flow chart of digital-based custom furniture,combined with the virtual reality interaction,furniture product system construction and parametric modeling technologies,this paper researches on the design of custom furniture,builds a product system which is applicable to the digital custom furniture.And carries out digital design practice on the bedroom wardrobe.The main research conclusions are as follows:Summarized the digital design concepts,features and principles of customized furniture.Based on the quantification and regeneration design concept,the digital design of custom furniture should follow the principles of modular,systematization,digitization and real-time response;meanwhile,digital-based custom furniture can meet the individual need of users,shorten the period of design,oriented to the product system and the whole life cycle.Analyze the application status of digital design technology in custom furniture design,and sort out the custom furniture digital design technical framework and key technologies,and propose the flow chart of digital-based custom furniture.According to the current problems in custom furniture digital design,propose the key digital design technologies of custom furniture are: virtual reality technology,furniture product system construction technology,parametric modeling technology and application program interface technology.Analyze the application of the virtual reality,furniture product system construction and parametric modeling in the custom furniture digital design,and build a custom furniture digital product system with the flow chart of digital-based custom furniture.Through the application of virtual reality interaction,the serial design mode is transformed into a parallel design mode to optimize design mode and improve design accuracy;take the custom board wardrobe as an example,based on the existing custom furniture product system with modular design method,constructed a digital product system with two levels of physical module and digital information module;through the application analysis of parametric modeling technology,setting the geometric parameters and variable rules of each module,implement the digitization of the product system.Based on the flow chart of digital-based custom furniture,carry out digital design practice with bedroom wardrobe.Taking the virtual reality technology to obtain user needs as a starting,base on the product database built by the construction of furniture product system and parametric modeling technology,the scheme design is carried out to verify the feasibility of the custom furniture digital product system.
