Research Of Pipeline In Service Integrity Management For E Company

The paper summarized the major problem and the development of the pipeline integritymanagement in the world, discussed the main contents and the process. According to usingthe risk matrix to calculate and evaluate the consequence and probability of the pipeline saccident, get the pipeline integrity management system for E company. Combined with allkinds of conditions, the pipeline will be divided to many groups. Then use the pipeline sparameter and inspection information to calculate the annual corrosion rate, and evaluate theprobability by the analytic hierarchy process andthe method of fuzzy analysis which could beA, B, C, D or E of the pipeline, and the consequence could be I, II, III, IV. By the expertmethod, the consequence influencing factor should be the potential health/safetyconsequences, the economic consequences, the environmental consequence and the publicdisruption consequences. Using the analytic hierarchy process andthe method of fuzzyanalysis, the pipeline integrity index can be gotten by the matrix combined with theprobability and consequence. The pipeline integrity modification and improvement will becarried out according to the pipeline integrity index, for example the pipeline replacement,pipeline material improvement, pipeline inspection standard improvement. And the result ofthe actions can be tested by the integrity index again which is a PDCA process.The pipeline integrity index is the base of the pipeline integrity management which canbe identified if it will be repaired, when it will be repaired and how to improve its reliability.The pipeline s economical maintenance plan can be decided by the integrity index to avoidthe redundant maintenance or shut down maintenance. In this paper, taking the chemicalpipeline with10years in E company as an object, combined with the actual situation ofpipeline construction conditions, operating parameter and safe management, using the basictheory and technology systems of pipeline management, the pipeline integrity managementsystem was established. Then the research results obtained in this paper was used in Ecompany to get the reasonable and economical pipeline integrity management. It is validatedthat the pipeline integrity management system in E company is reasonable and operational inpractice which can get the high reliability in the plant. The experience of this system wasuseful to the internal same plant and can push forward the internal pipeline integritydevelopment.
