Cutting, as a widely used operating technique in industry, aims at gettingthe wanted size of a material or a product. Based on the research of the field of thecutting machine, the thesis is to design a cutting machine used for cutting paper.The cutting machine possesses a high automation. It only needs one operator whosetask is putting large sheets of paper on the appointed position so that the cuttingmachine can cut the paper into the pre-designed size. For instance, it can cut alarge sheet of paper into24sheets with the same size. The cutting machine can alsoadjust the size in accordance with different requirements thus making massproduction possible.Based on the foreign and our research, firstly the design of the automaticcutting system has finished by decomposing the process of manual cutting.The first part of the article is the process of designing all the parts of theautomatic cutting system. Apart from that, the article also has the design of thekey components which includes the angle of the cutting knife, the process of thecutting knife, the structural optimization of the cutting knife and the cylindersimulation.The next part of the article is the detailed design of the electrical control of theautomatic cutting system, which is the design of the electric control box and theprogram of the PLC and so on. The design of the software of the electric controlsystem includes the program of the epigenous machine and touch screen. At themeantime, this part also includes the process of the Precision of the automaticcutting system.At last the high precision cutting machine system based on the PLC is reallythe automatic cutting machine, as it has the lower work and makes the highworking efficiency. During the designing of the cutting machine system, we makethe so mach function interface to has the others faction in the future.
