Currently the situation of air pollution is severe in our country. Some cities are exceeded by PM2.5 and O3 seriously. The VOCs,as the important precursors of PM2.5 and O3,has become a serious air pollution problem should be solved.Petrochemical enterprises,as the pillar industry of national production, are also large emitters of VOCs.And VOCs emission from petrochemical enterprises features various types and extensive sources. So this research studied the relevant content of VOCs in petrochemical enterprises.Through the process analysis to the sources of VOCs in petrochemical enterprises, the possible sources of VOCs were divided into fugitive emission sources and organized emission sources, and subdivided into 11 categories, including process equipment emission of abnormal production conditions, combustion flue gas emissions of hot?cold?supply facilities, the emission of process exhaust, the emission of process waste gas,raw material/product loading and uploading, the storage and reconciliation process of raw material/semifinished products/product,the inspection and maintenance of device and pipeline, the dynamic or static seal leaks of pumps/valves/flanges,the escape from wastewater gathering/storage /disposal,the sampling, the leaks of cooling tower/circulating water cooling system. The applicable emissions accounting methods of the 11 categories of the VOCs emission sources were introduced detailedly. And the part sources of the VOCs emission of certain process plants in petrochemical enterprise were accounted. The results show that, the organized emissions of VOCs continuous reforming equipment is 0.0411t/a in the petrochemical enterprise. The fugitive emissions of VOCs from the dynamic or static seal leaks of pumps/valves/flanges are 392.63t/a.We selected a petrochemical enterprise as a case to monitor/sample and analyze the atmospheric pollution in this area and the VOCs in plant area. The results show that, the range of VOCs concentrations on-site is 11.5148.8?g/m3.A list of VOCs components were established judging whether the alkanes is the largest active component in this petrochemical enterprise.Through qualitative and quantitative manners specified the VOCs contribution to the SOA of PM2.5.Using FAC calculated the contribution to SOA from VOCs is 2.5046?g/m3.It was found that aromatic hydrocarbons were the most important component forming PM2.5 in this petrochemical enterprise.Utilizing qualitative and quantitative manners specified the contribution from VOCs to the O3.Using two methods the active with ·OH and MIR,calculated the reaction activity of VOCs and found alkene are the most active component, the largest contributor to ozone. The contribution amount to ozone from VOCs in this petrochemical enterprise is 126.71?g/m3 by MIR method.
