With the domestic old oilfield exploration stepping into the middle and late phase, theoilfield workover task is becoming heavier. In order to improve the efficiency of workover,reduce the workover cost and improve the working environment of oilfield workers,achieving the mechanization and automation of the up-and-down operation during theworkover job are very important.On the basis of consulting a large number of workover operation mechanization andautomation literature,I have proposed a proposal to realize the up-and-down operationmechanization automation. The automated tripping system for pipe string includes liftingdevice, guiding device and workover tong. Lifting device is responsible for pulling, pushingand lifting the pipe string. Guiding device ensures the verticality of pipe strings when they arelifted. Workover tong completes the work of makeup/breakout for pipe strings.First, I proposed the design proposal of automated tripping system for pipe string ofworkover rig in this article and designed the proposals for the parts of system that includesderrick and travelling lines, guiding and lifting system and workover tong; According to thedesign requirements of automation and mechanization, I analyzed the work flow of lifting thepipe strings. Second, according to the design proposal, I completed the structure design ofguiding and lifting system. The main task includes3-D modeling for guiding and liftingsystem through SolidWorks, finishing the part drawing of relevant components throughAutoCAD, checking the intensity of bolts and annuls and analyzing the intensity and stiffnessof hinged end of upper guide track and bearing plate of lower guide track through AnsysWorkbench. Third, I designed the structure of workover tong, including3-D modeling forworkover tong, the design of power transmission system and planetary claw clampingmechanism, designing the lifting and self-locking system of workover tong and pitchadjusting mechanism of master tong and backup tong and braking system. I analyzed the stress and strain of gear through Ansys Workbench. At last, I designed the hydraulic controlcircuit of the whole system and simulated the breaking out operation and going up and downprocess of workover tong through AMESim.
