Iron and steel industry is the industrylifeblood of a country, however, ironing requireslimestone as a solvent, in addition to gangue.Refining steel generally uselimeas a slag rawmaterialto remove sulfur and phosphorus toxic substances. So limestone play a very greatrole in our country’s industrial production. At present, China’s annual production oflimestone ore can be ranked in the world, ranking in the limestone ore import trade, thecountry has been ranked in the forefront. The reason for this situation lies not in ourover-developed industry, but that the cost of transportation of ore with an average level ofglobal ore transport costs compared to the far distance. As the industry continues toprogress forward, the cost of transporting iron ore also will be increased.With the development of economy and the increasing of demand for ore in market,mine tunneling is getting faster. There is not being a single technology used in mine thatcan fully applicable to the whole life of mine.With the continuous development of society,chute used in Qiabuqi open pit is getting more and more to lower its section, so thatmaking the level vertical distance from the top of chute to the main adit getting shorter.The advantage of the transportation scheme on adit chute exploring will gradually be lost,when the level vertical distance from the top of chute to the main adit decreases. Until acertain elevation, adit development and transportation system will not be superior to othertransportation systems on transportation costs. According to mining interests maximization,the attendant is being replaced with other development and transportation programs. Thispaper uses geological data of Qiabuqi limestone open pit as engineering background andmakes1395m level of the6th slide wellhead as a starting point and12m of each lowersection as a range of units. By theoretically analyzing and calculating the variation thatcosts of adit transportation programs and full-auto transportation programs can changewhen altitude declines, inferring the level convergence point of adit transportationprograms and full-auto transportation programs. The main work is as follows:(1)According to the geological and deposit occurrence conditions in Qiabuqi open pit,a comprehensive analysis of viewing convergence of development and transportationsystem as the whole automotive transportation is being made.(2)Through field visits to identify factors compare two sections of the program;measuring in Qiabuqi limestone and collecting two program factors relevant data fromtechnicians.(3)By analyzing and calculating the measured data, we can get: the level heightdifference from1395m the top of chute to main adit is85m, the distance from main adit tocrushing station is1.2km; the trucking distance from1395m level of stope to crushingplant is1.3km. And when the entrance elevation is above1341m, each chute section drops12m resulting in car transport distance will be0.15km shortened.(4)By measured data and theoretical analysis calculating the law that cost of the twotransportation programs changes in elevation,and then constructing the correspondingfunction and drawing corresponding function image with word.(5)By the calculation of function and comparison of function image, we can obtainthe convergence point that adit development and transportation system plan transforms intoa full motor transport transportation scheme.
