The control system of the fan and the gas monitoring system are important parts of the safeproduction in the mine; they can guarantee the fan dependable operation and dilute gasaccumulation in the mine; they can ensure the fan switch to the standby power reliably andtimely when the electricity power suddenly interrupts, to prevent gas explosion which caused bygas accumulation due to the fan stops. This paper used a kind of taking energy from high levelmethod to design an EPS, which based on the battery management system, and the input DCvoltage is770V to950V, through the inverter system output220V power frequency sine acsingle-phase emergency power supply for the fan control system and gas monitoring system. Andensured the fan control system and monitoring system can continue reliably operate in the caseof mains failure, reduced the hidden trouble caused by gas accident, improved the security of themine production.Firstly, on the basis of the special environment and requirements of power supply in themine, and combined with the EPS development at home and abroad, this paper analyzed andresearched the basic principle and structure, and overall designed the composition and controlstrategies. The first chapter introduced the topic background, significance and the EPSdevelopment at home and abroad; The second chapter researched and analyzed the structure andcontrol strategy of the EPS, determine the development plan of the system, and adopted theIGBT inverter bridge topology and SPWM modulation technology based on DSP TMS320F2812to realize the inverter control, used the digital PI regulator to realize the closed-loop adjustmentof the output voltage; The third and fourth chapter analyzed and designed the main circuit andcontrol circuit in detail, including the hardware and software of every function module andselection of the device; Fifth chapter studied the system switching circuit and protection circuitand designed a thyristor static switching circuits, improved the speed and reliability of thesystem switch; The sixth and seventh chapter gave the experimental analysis and summary.Finally through analyzing the output voltage waveform in the no-load and load conditions,the results show that the output voltage harmonic content less, voltage is stable, the practicalapplication shows that the EPS system design scheme is feasible, and the power quality can meetthe requirement of the underground coal mining emergency ventilation, and can reduce potentialsafety hazard caused by ventilation gas accident.
