With the development of the oil industry and the consumption of conventional petroleumresources more vulnerable to exploitation, the hypercoagulable high viscosity and otherunconventional oil resource development and utilization has become an important source ofoil for the21stcentury. In our country, the heavy oil reserves account for more than20%ofthe total oil resources, ranking seventh in the world, so, it is significant greatly to protect therapid and steady development that make full use of our rich heavy oil resources.High viscosity, poor mobility characteristic has been become the important issue ofrestricting the exploitation of heavy oil gathering and transportation issues. Sensitivity totemperature make the viscosity of heavy oil heating become one of viscosity reduction ofheavy oil gathering and transportation. However, due to the poor thermal conductivity ofheavy oil, conventional heating methods based thermal conduction efficiency is low resultingin a lot of wasted energy. Therefore, the development of an economical, efficient,energy-saving, environmental protection, new heavy oil processing methods will make animportant contribution to improve the exploitation of heavy oil in China. This paper study heavy oil exploitation and processing as the background. Amicrowave heating, heavy oil viscosity reduction system has been designed using theprinciple of microwave heating, the micro-controller as the core the use of fuzzy PID controlalgorithm, and combine with the PWM pulse width modulation technology and triac regulatortemperature control strategy. The heavy oil heated to450℃to achieve irreversible’s viscosityreduction, ensure heavy oil safe and reliable pipeline task. The hardware and softwareprogram of the temperature control system is designed and developed, and the fuzzy PIDcontrol algorithm is modeled, simulated and analyzed. Microwave heating dissipates heating material directly by microwave in the internalenergy of the medium. The experiment found that microwave heating has the characteristic ofhigh efficiency, speed, uniform heating and has obvious advantages compared to traditionalheating. It has broad application prospects in the exploitation of heavy oil gathering andtransportation.
