Due to global warming and such subjects, low-carbon economics and low energy consumptionbecome a main focus of nowadays oil and gas industry. How to improve the heat-efficiency of oil fieldheaters becomes a major topic. Through the analysis of factors that impact the operation efficiency of oilfield heaters, and according to the physicochemical property and technical requirements of the heatedmedium, we will be able to find out reasonable models and structures of the oil field heaters. So that theheat-efficiency of the oil field heaters could be increased comparably. Considering the safety andeconomization, the problems could be solved by different sorts of design. Oil field heaters are originallyfrom the structure of boilers, which widely considered as important consumable equipments, and vital tothe crude oil processing system. In order to increase the heat-efficiency, reduce the fuel consumption andeliminating emission of waste gas, redesign process are recommended for the operation of the oil fieldheaters.
