Natural gas is one of the world’s most important resources, which is widely usedin the modern industry and daily life. With the high-speed development of Internetand computer technology and the innovation in natural gas industry, the goal ofrealizing enterprise management modernization, the resource cost minimization andthe management efficiency maximization with the combination between thetraditional natural gas flow metering method and modern network technology tomake full use of the advantages of digital data processing and analysis, as well as theconvenience of the Internet, has became crucial problem in current natural gasenterprises that are urgent to solve.A flow monitoring and integrated management system of natural gas meteringstation is designed by using LabVIEW. The system adopts the SCADA structure,which can complete the data acquisition,flow calculation and networkcommunications.In addition, it provides rich interactive capability, userauthorization mechanism and database system to help natural gas companiesachieving the goal of modern management.To improve the calculation precision, this system adopts the orifice meter fullcompensation iterative measurement method. Then I designed the gas flowmanagement software,including the modules of flow calculation,data alarm, andcommunication with server, daily report system, user permissions, historical dataanalysis,parameter setting and some other function modules. I also design arelated database to store the data.
