The reactive distillation is a chemical engineering process in which the chemical reactionunit is coupled with distillation unit. Compared to traditional chemical engineering process, ithas some advantages, for example, saving energy, high selectivity and yield, a few process steps,easing to be automatized etc. Therefore, this high-tech of reactive distillation has developedrapidly in recent years. Light chlorination reaction in synthetic chemistry, especially in naturalproducts, spices, medicine and other fine organic synthesis has great potential and has achievedgreat success,It has clean environmental protection, mild conditions, environmental safety, lowenergy consumption, easy process etc. Is can’t replace other chloride method.The application ofreactive distillation on the synthesis of organic chloride has an important significance.Reaction distillation technique was reviewed in this paper, and Chloromethyl trimethylsilane and a synthetic method of chloroacetoneis for the study object,Design the reactionrectification device, determines the synthesis methods of chlorine methyl trimethyl silane andchloroacetone synthetic route. With tetra methyl silaneand acetone as raw material, chlorine andchlorine in light under the condition of reaction distillation synthesis methods of methyltrimethyl silane and chloroacetone.Firstly according to the mechanism analysis and kinetic data of the reaction, thechlorination is a first order homogeneous reaction. On the basis of above results,the reactionrectification tower to synthesize methyl trimethyl silane and chloroacetonewas established.Explored the reaction temperature, material ratio, reaction time, catalyst, one-way conversionrate, such as the influence of the reaction, and the production capacity of the tower areinvestigated.Preparation of chlorine methyl trimethyl silane reaction distillation experiments designed aset of rectification tower, its theoretical plate number is8,500mm high tower, tower diameter29mm, Product purity is more than99%, the yield was58.2%.Preparation of chloroacetone reaction distillation experiments designed a set of rectificationtower, its theoretical plate number is9,563mm high tower, tower diameter26.5mm, Productpurity is more than98.5%, the yield was67.4%.With numerous experiments,the resrarch on the mechanism and kineties of the reactionrectification had be conducted,the synthetical routes of organic chloridessuch as chlorine methyltrimethyl silane and chloroacetone by the reaction rectification technique was obtained. Thetheoretical development of the reaction rectiflcation technique in the present dissertation.And thepreliminary design of the device on chlorine methyl trimethyl silane industrial productionwith500tons/year and chloroacetone industrial production with100tons/yearwascompletedbased on pilot datas, which will lay the foundation of industrial projects.
