Global ecological crisis becomes a serious problem in today. Great philosopher Marx has richecological philosophy. He explored the relationship in human and nature, society to explain hisecological philosophy, involving human civilization, social system level. In this paper, I based onthe investigation to the source of Marx’s ecological philosophy, in its multiple texts dig ecologicalphilosophy and interpret his ecological crisis diagnosis.First chapter is the introduction, some ecological Marxist scholars at home and abroadin-depth study of Marx’s ecological philosophy, foreign scholars Lase and Agger from theperspective of consumption alienation to explore the ecological crisis, O’Connor advocate theeconomic crisis and ecological crisis theory, through the study of the reconstruction of Marx’secological philosophy. Domestic scholars also join to the study of ecology Marxism, Wang Yuchen,Yu Wujin, Chen Xueming, Liu Rensheng,Zeng Wenting et al., based on the research of thewestern ecological Marxism and deepening of Marxist ecological philosophy thinking.The second chapter is mainly to explore the source of the Marx’s ecological philosophy, fromhis youth under the influence of Epicurus native materialism, after the enlightenment by Kant’sperspective, respecting nature, and then from the chemist Liebig inherited the concept of"metabolism", put it into social ecological field, finally in the Malthusian theory of population findthe intimate relationship between population and environment.The third chapter is mainly from Marx’s writings to explore ecological philosophy. In theDifferenz der demokritischen und epikureischen Naturphilosophie nebsteinem Anhange, Marxinherited Epicurus native materialism, laid the foundation of his materialism. Epicurus happinesslet Marx in the level of civilization rethink the ecological and ethical way of life. In Thesen überFeuerbach, Marx developed his practical materialism, and made it become the core of hisecological philosophy, at the same time, from the analysis of the civil society to criticize thecapitalist system which caused the ecological crisis. Marx in konomischphilosophischeManuskripte aus dem Jahre1844analyzed the dissimilation, criticized capital logic. In DieDeutsche Ideologie Marx developed his historical materialism. The Manifest derKommunistischen Partei also had ecological philosophy. In the Das Kapital, Marx used the metabolism concept to express capital logic and the essence of capital. This article dig from Marxsix works, tries to grasp the train of his ecological philosophy.The fourth chapter is to interpret Marx in the diagnosis of the root causes of ecologicalcrisis.Through the study of Marx’s text and overall grasp, trying to interpret Marx’s criticism inanthropocentrism level of human civilization, modern mechanical civilization, modernitycivilization. Marx at the system level criticize the capitalist system of profit-driven, capital logicand the ecological nature of criticism, the demand-side of today’s criticism of the alienation ofconsumption. Through the diagnosis of ecological crisis, Marx provides a solution for solving theproblem of human existence.The fifth chapter on the study of Marx’s ecological philosophy, express the contemporarymeaning of the thought, Marx criticized modernity, analyzed the consumption alienation, it givesus an important enlightenment to contemporary, let people rethink the modernity. At the same time,China is focus on the ecological civilization construction, Marx’s thought also gives importantenlightenment both in the theory and practice areas.
