The Research On Evaluation Of Human Settiement’s Quality And Residents Satisfaction In Wuhu

In recent years, with the development of urban economy, urban humansettlements faces a series of rigorous challenges. the environmental problems becomemore and more serious. The problem of traffic congetion, housing shortages and overload operation of public infrastructure become increasingly prominent. At the sametime, with the the improvement of the people’s living standard, people has higherrequirement about the quality of the urban living environment. So it has been anurgent requirement in the current urban development to synthetically assess thequalities of urban human settlements.Based on theoretical research at home and aboroad, Wuhu is chosen as anexample in the paper to make empirical research, which consists of the following fourparts:The first part discusses the research backgroud, research significance, researchcontent and method, and the research progress both at home and abroad, elaboratesthe related concepts and theories, in order to make clear the essences of the paper.The second part introduces the general situation of residential environmentconstruction from the urban ecological environment, urban infrastructure,urbanresidential construcion and people’s living standard four aspects, and on the basis ofpredecessors’research achievements, the paper establishes an evaluating indicatorsystem of human settlement construction level of Wuhu, then using the analytichierarchy process quantitative analysis and evaluation the quality of Wuhu’s humansettlements for2006-2012.The third part based on the large amout of data, the paper analysis andevaluation the satisfaction of human settlements of Wuhu, through the communityenvironment satisfaction, the composition of ideal human settlements, the presentdevelopment situation and development trend of human settlements, then comparedthe residents satisfaction survey and construction level evaluation results. The fourth part according to the development status of Wuhu livingenvironment quality, combined with the subjective and objective evaluation results,proposes the corresponding specific optimization measures of Wuhu.On the basis ofthe above content, the paper expounds the research conclution of this study, and putsforward the deficiency of this study.
