The Research And Innovation Design Of Partial Knitting Of Fully Fashioned Knitwear

Partial Knitting is an important and widely used way of weaving in the field of fullyfashioned knitwear. From Hand Knitting to the present Computer flat Knitting machine weaving,partial knitting has been expanding the new space of design for Knitting Fashion Design. PartialKnitting can not only realize the partial Structure of knitting clothing, but also can be combinedwith a variety of stitches, which form rich appearances. It also has the characteristics of highefficiency, high speed and material saving.This essay studied the differences of hand knitting, computer flat knitting machine andHand flat knitting machine with rest function respectively, starting from the principle andclassification of partial knitting. It also analysed machinery structure and features of weavingbriefly, which had some influences on the process of partial knitting and the effect of weaving.With computer flat knitting machine in twentieth Century70as the cut-off point, this thesisstudied the different way of using partial knitting under the influence of the weaving craftdevelopment, social background and aesthetic habits. Through data collection, this essaysummarized the conventional use of partial knitting in design of the knitted apparel, and takingthis as the foundation, from the aspects of the structure and organization in fully fashionedknitwear and the combination of these two, it began with the collection and design of creativeapplication, as well as the organization and practice, aiming to open a new design field for partialknitting. This thesis aims to help designers in knitting industry realize the importance of productdevelopment which deeply influenced by the creation and design of new crafts, only combine thecraftsmanship with technology has a long term development.
