China is the world’s largest producer of coal and coal consumption. The coal industry in China’s economic development plays a very important role. And for now, China’s major coal using underground mining methods. This mining method for underground mining operations threaten the safety of staff is great. In recent years, the frequent occurrence of mine accidents, caused irreparable to country life and property losses. At the same time, it has brought countless families heavy bereavement. Security issue peremptory has become the primary problem of mining industry. The state will also be referred to the unprecedented height of coal mine safety. In this paper, based on RFID technology to carry out research and ZIGBEE personnel mine of information collection and positioning. Mainly to solve the following problem areas:1) underground communication system features a single, there is no real-time acquisition function underground workers vital signs information;2) they use a wired underground communication cables, networking simple, easy to break once the mine accident;3) Lack of effective acquisition concentration of harmful gases in the mine and equipment, excessive concentrations can not be reported immediately. This paper uses the design and implementation of RFID-based technology and ZIGBEE two vital signs information on mine personnel and harmful gas concentrations around information and personnel positioning of the integrated system. By analyzing RFID and ZIGBEE wireless communication technology with the characteristics proposed a RFID for mine workers ZIGBEE vital signs information collection and wireless transmission based on the new technology. We use this system to activate the passive active standby to reduce power consumption. Using LSI technology will be integrated RFID tag chip temperature, pulse and harmful piezoelectric film madeof a small volume of gas sensors, and then made into lightweight wrist tag used to collect vital signs information and operating personnel mines around gas concentration, and other related information. As the wrist tag, close to the body, so that more accurate information collection. Then from the network structure, protocol stacks such as the angle of in-depth study of the IEEE802.15.4protocol and ZIGBEE wireless communication technology, ZIGBEE technology and wireless transmission technology to compare several summed ZIGBEE technical advantages. On this basis, the overal design scheme based IEEE802.15.4/ZIGBEE downhole positioning system protocol. The system uses ZIGBEE wireless network location to build a data transmission communication platform, positioning data mine workers and other information transmitted to the gas concentration Inoue control center. Converted by the interface module ZIGBEE nodes reading data form for transmission over a wireless network. Finally achieved rapid and accurate positioning of the mine workers and vital signs collection and transmission of information, once the mine, not only to timely access to information vital signs around the mine workers and the distribution of harmful gases, but also precise positioning of the current location information, greatly improved the efficiency of mine rescue workers, and effectively ensure the safety of operating personnel themselves. At the same time, RFID electronic tags can also be used for mine personnel attendance systems, but are not discussed in this article. In addition, the paper also gives the downhole positioning IEEE802.15.4/ZIGBEE based on an agreement with the transmission system function and structure. Elaborated circuit design system hardware devices, including CC2430/CC2431nodes, gateway node and ZIGBEE wireless transmission based; system device software design, and demonstrate a simple demonstration system to test the positioning effect.
