Research And Analysis Of CNC Technology Application On Roll Grinding Machine

The numerical control technology is one of the automatic control technology that applied mostly in the industry field. This paper is base on some technical documents and reference articles, as well as the grinding machine revamping subject of Benxi Steel Cold Rolling Mill. It mainly introduces the importance and significance of the application of the CNC technology used on the grinding machine, and make some analysis to the problems encountered in the revamping subject through the aspects of the development history, constructions and function.The main research of this paper is as follow:(1) Introduce the developing of the NC and analyze the characteristics and significant of its applying on grinding machine. The construction and electrical system of grinding machine, especially the construction of the electrical system is also introduced. What’s more, we analyze the structure the hardware and software of the classic NC system, as well as the control function of the CNC.(2) The Siemens SINUMERIK840D system, industrial PC and the profibus technology is mainly introduced.(3) Make research on the function of the OEM software provided by SINUMERIK840D, and introduce the conception and function of the Regie and sequence control. On the other hand, we make the grinding curve interface under the Visual Basic develop environment. Besides, it realizes the data transmission between HMI and NC and system internal communication by applying the variable service, domain service and PI service provided by NCDDE server of the840D system. What’s more, the HMI network connection is also built.(4) Introduce the grinding machine revamping subject of BX Steel and analyze the technical characteristics of the3equipment supplier, and then decide the revamping scheme and method. Then, accomplish the operation interface by using OEM software according to the characteristic of840D numerical system.
