ECM is an important branch of non-traditional machining, mainly used forprocessing high strength, high hardness, high toughness etc. materials that difficult toprocess and complex cavity, surface, type hole, thin-wall parts. Based on Siemens802Dsl, the issue successfully designed four-axis linkage control systems forDJK3163.vertical ECM machine tools.First, according to the requirements of functional and environmental of the ECMmachine tools, the issue selected802Dsl NC system. Then based on feed speed andpower etc. requirements of the machine tool, the issue selected the servo motor type anddetermined overall program of the control system. The issue completed hardwareconfiguration and hardware circuit design, and the input/output circuit is simple andeasy to maintain by using terminal adapter plate. The issue completed the controlsystem design using modular design and calling subroutine method, achieved fastprotection of short circuit and linkage protection. Through a cooperative manner (loggerwith the NC system)achieved monitoring, data logging and alarm protection of theelectrochemical machining parameters (the voltage and current of power supply, thetemperature, flow and pressure of electrolyte),compared to touch screen this mode ismore intuitive and effective. Finally, through PLC debugging, driver debugging, NCcommissioning, backlash compensation, ball screw pitch error compensation etc.operation, we improved the ECM machine tool control system.The machine control system is stable and reliable, function relatively perfect, hashigh precision and good control characteristics. The system can achieve four axislinkage processing, and in the generating machining way,the machine is able tocomplete complex work-pieces by a simple cathode, which reducing the cathodemanufacturing costs and improving the applicability of the electrolysis process,providing a reference for other linkage electrolysis machine tool design, with a highapplication value.
