In order to fight against frequent underground operation accident in dangerous coal mining, strong communication security can be provided to coal mine production, accident rescue and disaster relief with the wireless mine communications system. Because underground wireless communications equipment is an important part of the system, to develop underground wireless communications equipment management system is essential for the efficient management of wireless communications equipment and for the security of normal operation of wireless mine communications system.The design and realization of underground wireless communications equipment management system has been discussed in this paper. C/S architecture has been adopted to the design of holistic architecture, divided into two parts of communication server and management client side. Communication server as the middleware between management client, other mine systems and underground equipment, mainly completes the data transmission between them, as well as manage client security check and other functions. Management client as the current state information of the graphic display the upper application system, mainly completes the real-time display of the underground equipment information, set parameter and so on. Fully compatible with client’s other mine systems, Various databases, such as Oracle, SQL Server are supported with background database having friendly convenient user interface, and system can be rapidly built with JAVA language and J2EE architecture to conduct development, for user’s convenience. Meanwhile backup mode has also been employed to provide reliable safety mechanism, efficiently guarantee system’s normal operation.Real-time condition of the underground wireless communications equipment can be monitored and managed with this subsystem platform while equipment parameters can be rapidly and correctly set, convenient human-machine operation interface provided and topological graph of underground wireless communications equipment displayed on client side.For the time being system has been tested, achieving stable operation and good condition, having met client’s requirement and realized the efficient management to underground wireless communications equipment.
