Chemical equipment management is one of the most important fields of chemical enterprise management. It's a precondition to maintain production safely and normally. It's a good project to adopt computer database technology to manage equipment management information because of a mass of data and high efficiency. But, the present Chemical Equipment Management Information System (CEMIS) of stand-alone and C/S mode can not realize the communion of information resource. All the information is separate, information can not be centralized to control. With Active Server Pages technology and browser/server management mode, using SQL Server 2000 database as backstage, combining them by ActiveX Data Objects, the solution of the chemical equipment management information system based on network is developed which can solve all those problems above. The system also achieves the function of interconnecting and real-time relating with multilayer users. From market-inquiry to discarding, the whole life of equipments is under control. Functions of this system are designed as follows: basis management, prophase management, equipment management, defending and maintaining management, spare part management, lubricating management and system management. This paper can realize purchase optimization, management dynamic and data-handle automatic This paper builds relation between tables and data tables including prophase management database, equipment basis information database, equipment status database, repairing database and users database.Through testing based on CangZhou fertilizer factory and Dagu chemical plant, the system is proved that its functions have reached expected targets and holds such characters as simple operation and clear foreground.
