This article describes the development situation of domestic and foreign liquefied gasstorage facility failure, a typical case of leakage fire were analyzed, noted less likely currentlyunder manufacture and management has improved the premise of physical explosion occurred,Chemistry is the greatest risk after pipeline leak caused by the explosion. Combined with theactual risk Luoyang Petrochemical LPG leakage after cryogenic storage devices wereevaluated for pipeline corrosion perforation, leaking flange seal failure were focused ontheoretical analysis, the preventive measures was proposed.In this paper, specific examples of LPG pipeline failure cryogenic storage devices startingfrom two in-depth theoretical study: First, to study the corrosion of pipeline leak hazards,corrosive species, influencing factors, combined with pipeline leaks since the plant operatingstatistics for corrosion of pipes of different systems for leaks theoretical analysis, pointing outthat the wet hydrogen sulfide corrosion is the main cause of internal pipeline corrosion,chemical corrosion under acidic conditions is the main cause of pipeline external corrosion,hydrogen sulfide stress corrosion cracking is the desulfurizer tank flange cracking the mainreason, etc., proposed measures to mitigate corrosion of pipelines under different conditions;the second is to study the mechanism of pipe flange sealing, flange sealing the reasons for thefailure of its influencing factors, combined with the specific circumstances of the device is putinto use since the pipe flange seal leakage different parts of the pipe flange seal failure casetheoretical analysis, pointing out that irrational use of shims, does not regulate the use ofblanking panels, changes in temperature and pressure is the main cause of the flange sealleakage is proposed to avoid different parts of the flange sealed concrete measures leakage.After selection of the gasket, blind selection, selection of cold material, equipmentupgrades, control system optimization, specific measures to demonstrate adjustment processoperation, followed one by one implementation, tracking verification.The test verified that the proposed research to make LPG cryogenic storage pipelinecorrosion and pipe flange seal failure situation was brought under control or reduce, to ensurethe safe operation of LPG cryogenic storage device.
