Due to the liquefied petroleum gas is inflammable,explosive and toxic materials, Storing and transporting process in the event of leakage, explosion, fire will be caused the loss of property, personnel casualties and pollution of the environment. Therefore, the simulation and computing research on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) leakage and explosion when meeting fire, it has a great guiding significance for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) storage tank leakage, fire and emergency rescue.This paper takes the particle stochastic model and with the MATLAB to simulate and analysis the diffusion. Then, the thermal radiation mechanism of fires and burning rate, diameter of liquid pool, flame height, flame surface heat flux parameters and so on. the harm of liquefied petroleum gas pool fires is expounded. Once again, the fire explosion of the liquefied petroleum gas is analyzed, At the same time, the critical distance evacuation and the distance of the rescue. At last, for the reason of tank failure analysis, this paper puts forward the corresponding protective measures; Based on the positions and personnel safety consciousness and psychological quality, person evacuation distance when the liquefied petroleum gas leak; Analysis of tank fire, rescue workers wearing protective clothing distance fire safety distance and time; Implement distance fire rescue personnel to the analysis of the critical distance and the distance between the storage tank. This study can be liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) storage tank leakage and fire emergency rescue to provide technical support.
