Three dimensional parallel vibration casting machine is a kind of casting vibration equipment that it can achieve three freedom vibration at most. Based on the application of parallel mechanism in the field of multidimensional vibration, it is a kind of complete decoupling parallel mechanism2PRRR-P(2R) for solving multidimensional exciting vibration problems in Evaporative Pattern Casting Process. Not only can it provide vibration for drysand’s compaction process in Evaporative Pattern Casting Process, but also solve the vibration problems of liquid metal solidification. Existing equipments need different devices to achieve the different exciting vibration. Using three dimensional parallel vibration casting machine can improve equipment utilization, achieve multi-usage, improve castings quality obviously, decrease casting defects, reduce production cost, and improve the labor productivity greatly. It is a new idea that parallel mechanism is used for the design of vibration casting equipment to solve less vibrational degrees of freedom, low efficiency, unstable vibration force, and easy to appear structure resonance problems of the traditional vibration. It has important application value and theoretical significance to establish new vibration casting theories and develop new vibration casting equipments.Mold filling and solidification process of Evaporative Pattern Casting Process were simulated and emulated with ProCAST in this topic. It could predict and analyse the reasons of the casting defects, and avoid the generation of defects such as shrinkage cavity and porosity by the optimization of casting process. It analyzed and studied parallel mechanism of three degree of freedom based on the theory of parallel mechanism topological structure, determined the optimal machine type of three dimensional parallel vibration casting machine’s body vibration mechanism as2PRRR-P(2R), analysed the motion characteristics, and verifies the rationality of the design of three dimensional parallel vibration casting machine through the study of kinematics and dynamics simulation analysis and optimization of the virtual prototype. Numerical simulation study on drysand filling and compaction process of Evaporative Pattern Casting Process could investigate influence of vibrational parameters such as degrees of freedom, amplitude and frequency on drysand compactness by using the discrete element analysis software EDEM. The optimal vibration parameters were obtained and it could provide theoretical foundation for the designing and using of three dimensional parallel vibration casting machine. This research object by prototype test shows that the structure of three dimensional parallel vibration casting machine is designed reasonable. It has the ability to solve the multidimensional vibration problems for Evaporative Pattern Casting Process, and it has great prospects for development. It can provide important technical guidance for researching new vibration casting equipment.
