Coastal zone is an important place for human life. Laizhou Bay is one of thethree most biggest in Bohai Bay, and is a very important fishery areas. Marinefisheries and seawater chemical industries have obvious advantages in the southern ofLaizhou Bay, which plays an important role in marine economy in Shandong Province.As environmental problems become so prominent with human beings continuing todevelop, how to use of land resources efficiently and rationally and not lead to thedeterioration of the geological environment, is an urgent problem. Therefore, it’snecessary to evaluate the geological environment.On the basis of geological environment in the southern of Laizhou Bay, thegeological survey and monitoring of environmental data of the local blank area ismade. This paper collects over ten survey report, more than six hundred drilling dataports and six geological survey report. According to the geological structure, landform types and physical and mechanical properties of soil, the sea area is divided intoseven sub-regions of engineering geology.On the basis of the geological environment, to make the evaluation relationshipbetween geological environmental factors and functional types. The land types isdivided for eight categories, using mathematical statistics software, which includingindustries of urban construction land, ecological green space, agricultural land, landreclamation from the sea, seawater resources land, port and shipping area of land,fishery breeding land and ocean energy land. This paper discusses the first five land.According to the characteristics of the coastal zone, this paper builds a coastalgeological environment evaluation factors, including crustal stability, topography,hydrogeology, engineering geology, environmental quality, geological disasters, andhuman activities.Depending on the different factors of land function, this paper uses theappropriate environmental assessment of geological factors to evaluate. By the analytic hierarchy process to determine the weights of evaluation factors, basing onArcGIS software platform, systematic fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is usedto evaluate the study area. It provides a basis for the development and has importantpractical significance.
