The large disparity of the reliability of the domestic and imported key functionalcomponents is the main reason of that the reliability level of domestic CNC machine tool is low.Therefore, the key to improve the reliability level of domestic CNC machine tool lies in reducingthe failure frequency and improving the reliability of domestic key functional components. Thepower servo turret is the key functional components of CNC machine tool to achieve compositeprocessing. Design laboratory reliability test on the power servo turret for exposing the potentialfailure and do failure analysis and improvement may improve its reliability. But only doreliability test can not response the changes of the characteristics of the information when it isfailure, and can not avoid the recurrence of such failures. Therefore, research the conditionmonitoring system to collect and analysis the characteristic information of the power servo turrethas great practical value.Based on the failure analysis of the power servo turret, select the electric current, vibration,loosen and clamp signal, temperature as the monitoring parameter. Design and implement themonitoring scheme, and design and preparate the monitoring control system for each parameter.Complete the condition monitoring system for the power servo turret and design the conditionmonitoring test.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1. The failure analysis for the power servo turret:According to the failure data, analyze the fault position and the failure mode. Select thecurrent, vibration, loosen and clamp signal, temperature as the monitoring parameter of thecondition monitoring system for the power servo turret.2. The solution design of the condition monitoring for the power servo turret:Selected the holzer electric current transducer, wireless acceleration sensor node, loosen andclamp signal sensor, infrared temperature sensor as the monitoring sensitive element of thecurrent, vibration, loosen and clamp signal, temperature. And through the data acquisition card, PLC and wireless gateway transport the collected signal in the IPC to storage and analysis.3. The design of condition monitoring the control system for the power servo turret:Preparate the monitoring control procedures for the current, loosen and clamp signal,temperature, and use BeeData computer acquisition and processing software collect and analyzethe vibration, to achieve the signal acquisition, signal processing, signal display, feature valueextraction and data management for each monitoring parameters, and automatic alarm for thecurrent, loosen and clamp signal, temperature.4. The condition monitoring test for the power servo turret:Design the condition monitoring test for each monitoring parameters, record the data of themonitoring parameter information, make analysis and processing to get the characteristicquantity of the change of each monitoring parameters, and make statistical analysis for thecharacteristic quantity of the current, vibration, loosen and clamp signal to seek the scope ofchange.
