Research Of The Mechanism Of Public Participation In Environmental Management

The recent environmental group events, especially a large-scale outbreaks of PX series events as a representative broke out seriously, not only became a hot spot of public concern, but also caused negative impact on economic and social development.There are many reasons of the outbreaks of environmental group events, but one of the most important reasons is that public participation mechanisms are obviously insufficient and information is seriously asymmetry.Therefore, this paper describes some typical domestic PX environmental group events, and try to analysis of the existing lack of public participation in environmental systems multi-angle-depthly. In addition, this paper will generalize policy recommendations on the basis of the some positive cases and comparing effective policies, expecting to build a long-term environmental development mechanism of public participation, which can guide environmental group events to the right path, and solve environmental problems rationally in the future. I hope our public environmental information, participation and oversight rights can be well protected in all environmental affairs, ultimately our country can achieve a win-win situation between public and government, between environment and economy.
