Sintering process of iron and steel production is the second large energy consumption, energy saving potential. Therefore, to achieve energy saving to reduce sintering, iron and steel production energy consumption, saves the production cost, raise business economic benefits to have far-reaching real sense. This article mainly aims at the Tianjin Iron and Steel Group Company Limited of sintering production status, through the analysis on air leakage problem existing in production, improvement of sintering machine sealing system, reduce harmful air leakage. Studies support the sintering technology, improve the thickness of the material layer, to realize thick material layer production. Pairs of ignition furnace were improved, the use of new ignition burner and explore the proper air-fuel ratio, reducing gas consumption. Realization of a sintering machine can increase and energy consumption reduction. The main contents of the study include:Analysis of sintering machine in the production of air leakage problems, on the sintering machine head, tail sealing device and car bottom surface leakage, sintering machine trolley loose plate and the fixed slide sealing bellows, bellows expansion joint between air leakage of air leakage, large flue double-layer unloading valve leakage and other parts of improvement, the air leakage control and Study on the problem of air leakage, to avoid causing sintering machine sealing equipment damage, avoid the problem of air leakage effect of sintering machine the normal production operation, improving the sintering production rate, achieve the aim of saving energy, reducing sintering machine main shaft fan load, reduce fan energy consumption, improving the sintering machine sealing system, reduce harmful air leakage, reduce power consumption, to increase production and save energy of sintering machine.Analysis on supporting sintering technology, improve feed permeability, improve the vertical sintering speed, shorten the sintering time, effectively improve the sinter productivity, and improve the thickness of the material layer, to realize thick material layer production, achieve the energy saving effect of sintering machine.Based on the research and improvement of the ignition furnace, the use of new ignition burner and explore the proper air-fuel ratio, reduce the energy consumption in the sintering process for ignition of the proportion of, reduce gas consumption.
