Until the end of2010, decontamination rateof urban refuse in our country was77.9%while county town27.4%, which tells us thatmuch municipal solid waste in our country has not received decontamination. The solidwaste which has not been scientifically decontaminated is a serious source of pollutionin wide region, hindering the harmonious development of economy and society. Inaccordance with the development of low-carbon economy and the requirements of“resource-saving and environment-friendly” society as well as “Wild China”, themanagement of municipal solid waste should be better and better. So, the research onthe improvement of municipal solid waste management has its great significance.Firstly, the essay states the present management of our municipal solid waste from theperspective of development process, management bodies and production and processing.What’s more, it objectively analyzes the problems in the municipal solid waste management,then summarizes that the municipal solid waste management is in the extensive developmentstage. Strengthening the municipal solid waste management and enhancing the low-carbonmanagement level of the municipal solid waste have become a significant task.Secondly, the essay analyzes the method of its management and formulates thelow-carbon management systems. And with the practical evidence of the management of themunicipal solid waste in Wujin District in Changzhou, it states the comprehensiveinvestigation of the waste management and summarizes its successful experience and shortcomings.
