This paper takes dyeing in supercritical CO2PET/cotton (65/35) fabric as an object of study In order to improve dyeing effect of mixed fabric, they are needed to be modified with low temperature plasma firstly, and then modified with alkali-benzyl chlorine, ionic liquid and swelling agent (PEG-5000) separately. It analyzed the influencing factors on aberration, such as dye amount, dyeing temperature, dyeing pressure and dyeing time. It investigated the variation of fiber crystallinity and dye crystallinity state, the effect of supercritical CO2on fabric mechanical property. At the same time, It optimized fabric dyeing technological conditions in supercritical CO2and tested fastness to washing and rubfastness.The study finds that the aberration is affected obviously by dyeing temperature and pressure, especially dyeing temperature. When dyeing PET/cotton fabric in supercritical CO2, the dyeing effect can reach the best result under the condition of proper tightness of winding and inside and outside dyeing style. The optimal dyeing craft f is as follows:C.I. Disperse Red60:the pressure is18MPa, the temperature is125℃and the dyeing time is50min; C.I. Disperse Yellow54:the pressure is32MPa, the temperature is130℃and the dyeing time is40min; C.I. Disperse Blue79:the pressure is30MPa, the temperature is110℃and the dyeing time is50min.After dyeing in supercritical CO2, the polyester and cotton fiber degree of crystallinity become lower. Crystal grain of dye becomes small but its crystal formation does not change obviously. And the fabric rupture strength and elongation at break become lower but the variation of mechanical property is not noticeable and the fabric fastness to washing and rubfastness are excellent. So quick dyeing speed, chromatic depth and physical and mechanical properties will be considered when determine the dyeing craft in supercritical CO2Based on a lot of experiments, it studied comprehensively on the dyeing of PET/cotton fabric in supercritical CO2. It found that the modified fabric with alkali-benzyl chlorine, ionic liquid and swelling agent (PEG-5000) could be dyed in supercritical CO2. And the modified fabric with alkali-benzyl chlorine has good leveling property, high color fastness and short dyeing time. From this kind of view, dyeing the PET/cotton fabric is practical in supercritical CO2.
