In this thesis, reactive UV absorber for cotton fabrics were synthesized bycyanuric chloride as the main material for offering reactive group. Referring to thesynthetic ways of reactive dyes, the ultraviolet absorber with reaction activity and goodwater solubility was prepared. Firstly reacting the cyanuric chloride with UVabsorbers UV-0by the condensation reaction, then the water soluble quaternaryammonium salt groups was introduced into the structure of the cyanuric chloridebased on the advantages of different reactivity of three chlorine atoms in its structureby controling the temperature in different stages. The ultraviolet protectivecharacteristic and washfastness of the cotton fabric treated with reactive UV absorberwas tested. The work was summarized as follows:The intermediate product4-(4,6-dichloro-1,3,5-triazin-2-yloxy)-2-hydroxyphenyl)(phenyl)methanone was successfully synthesized by reacting2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone(UV-0) with2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine(TCT). The influences of the molar ratio of reactant, the reactionsolvent and the dosage of alkalion on the reaction were discussed.The structure of synthesizedcompound were characterized by the IR、1HNMR and13CNMR.The amidation reaction of N,N-Dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine and acetic anhydride wasreseared through the orthogonal experiment, the influence of reaction temperature and solventconditions on the yield of the quaternization reaction was searched. It was also discussed that theinfluence of the deacetylation reaction of hydrolytic amides. The structures of target molecularwere characterized by the IR and1HNMR.It was studied the reaction of4-(4,6-dichloro-1,3,5-triazin-2-yloxy)-2-hydroxyphenyl)(phenyl) methanone and3-amino-N-benzyl-N,N-dimethylpropan-1-aminium chloride. It wascharacterized by the IR and1HNMR, the thermal stability and surface activity and UVabsorption properties were determined. It was investigated the ultraviolet protective properties and washability of the cottonfabric treated with reactive UV absorber. After finishing, the UPF of finishing fabricincreased to87.30, the UVA-shielding rate reached98.9%, the UVB-shielding rate of99%percent, after soaping20times, UPF of fabric reached73.70. Its anti-ultravioletproperties up to GB/T18830-2009standards.
