Since 21st century,with the development of industry,the whole world use of chlorofluorocarbon in a large amount make the atmospheric ozone layer destroyed seriously,The UV radiation amount of reaching surface of the earth is strengthened gradually,which has caused great danger to the mankind’s health.Development and application of ultraviolet protective textile were paid much attention.The effective way to protect textile from ultraviolet radiation was to use uvioresistant agent.So the study of uvioresistant agent become one of the important subjects in the field of dyeing and finishing of textile.Many new reactive UV-obsorbers including tree intermediate compounds and tree target compounds were synthesized with benzotriazole,2,4-diaminobenzene sulfonic acid,piperidinol and so on as raw material,and they could be used as UV absorbers.The structure of the compounds prepared was characterized by IR spectra, and their UV absorbency characters were studied by spectra which illustrating the absence of main function groups of six compounds.UV spectra showed that these compounds could absorb ultraviolet radiation in 200-400nm with high intensity.Their optimal prepare process were obtained by through a series of perpendicular experiments.The compounds prepared were put onto cotton fabrics by impregnating to improve textile’s performance against ultraviolet ray,their optimal finishing process were obtained through a series of perpendicular experiments,the influence to the applied properties of the treated cotton fabrics was studied under optimal technologic condition,finally,the applied performances of the compounds were compared with each other under the condition of equivalent solid content,and their performances were also compared with HTUV100 and HTUV150 on the market under the same condition.The results showed that the ultraviolet protective factor(UPF) of the cotton poplin and the cotton kinitting finished by all the compounds improved obviously.The performance of resisting the ultraviolet ray from strong to the weak order as follows sequentially:UV-3,UV-2,HTUV100,UV-1, HTUV150,M-3,M-2,M-1.The result also showed that the compounds had excellent wash fast performance,the wash fast performance of intermediate compounds were similar to HTUV150,the UPF of the fabrics treated by them preserved more than 80%after 50 times laundering.And the wash fast performance of target compounds were similar to HTUV100,the UPF of the treated fabrics by them preserved more than 90%after 50 times laundering.Meanwhile,the influence to the physical and mechanical performance of the treated fabrics was insignificant.The performance of UV-3 dying with react dyes in the same bath was also studied,the result showed that UV-3 could be used with reactive dyes in the same bath.The results showed that the six compounds synthesized could improve the performance of fabrics treated against ultraviolet ray,in a word,they were excellent uvioresistant.
