With the rapid development of modern information technology, people ask forhigher and higher living environment. The society pays more attention to theenvironmental monitoring.Indoor environmental monitoring is a priority for theenvironmental monitoring. People spend most of the time indoors every day, nomatter whether to study or work. Indoor pollutants may be absorbed by people,which cause a harm to people’s body. Nowadays, Indoor decoration materials containformaldehyde so that people have more opportunities to contact with formaldehyde,which makes threat to people’s health. Therefore, indoor formaldehyde monitoring isimperative.With comprehensive perception, reliable transmission and intelligent processing,internet of things technology application in the field of environmental monitoring hasbecome a hot research topic. Therefore, through the use of the Internet of thingstechnology design of the indoor environment formaldehyde monitoring system, thearticle will analyze remote transmission and intelligent processing of indoorformaldehyde concentration data. The design of this system mainly includes threeparts: system network design, the system hardware design and software design.Among them, the network design is made up of the internal network system of andthe ZigBee protocol network layer; Hardware design is mainly composed of controlunit module data, acquisition module, wireless communication module, serialcommunication module and power module; Software design mainly includes theinformation acquisition module, sensor nodes sending module, information receivingmodule and PC monitoring interface. Based on the internet of things technologydesign, this article will achieve the design of the indoor environment formaldehydemonitoring system.In view of test in the indoor environment formaldehyde monitoring system, theaccuracy, reliability and instantaneity of this system will be validated.
