| Ink-jet printing plays more and more roles in our life:not only in our work, but also, ordinary households. With the increasing and growing needs, the pursuit of printing quality is increasing. As a consumable material of the ink-jet printing, ink plays a decisive role in the quality of the print images. The dye, as the colorant, determines the performance of the ink. Therefore, the investigation on the properties of ink-jet dyes, such as solubility and weather-resistance, is of great significance.Firstly, the thesis described the design and synthesis of two water-soluble and weather-durable dyes:C1and R1. The dye C1is sulfonated copper phthalocyanine with multiple sulfonic groups, and the dye R1is sulfonic vat orange7. The properties of solubility, absorption spectra, weatherability and electrochemical property are also measured and studied. The test results indicate that the dye C1is of excellent water solubility, and the dye R1is of higher weather resistance. Both of them might have potential applications in ink-jet printing.Secondly, by introducing the long-chain alkyl amino group to copper phthalocyanine sulfonamide, two oil-soluble blue dyes, C2and C3, were synthesized. Their solubility and absorption spectra were tested. The test results show that both C2and C3can be dissolved in most organic solvents, and their solubility decreases with the increase of the solvent polarity. And the dye C3has a higher solubility than C2, which shows that branch chain substituents can improve the oil solubility of this kind of dye easily. Finally, as the yellow oil-soluble fluorescent dyes, four1,8-naphthalimide derivatives (Y1, Y2, Y3and Y4) were synthesized, and their absorption spectra, fluorescence emission spectra and solubility in different organic solvents were tested. The results show that all of them are of good solubility and high fluorescence quantum yield. |
